Exos eða öðru nafni Arnviður Snorrason er tónlistarmaður og

plötusnúður sem hefurverið iðinn við að halda

raftónleika og danstónlistarkvöld í harðari kantinum í Reykjavík.

Hann hefur gefið út 13 smáskífur og 3 breiðskífur
ásamt því að hafa gert endurhljóðblandanir fyrir menn
eins og Ben Sims, Mark Brom og Pascal Feos. Exos gaf
út sína fyrstu plötu á Thule records aðeins 17 ára
gamall og stuttu seinni komst hann í samband við Force
Inc í Þýskalandi þar sem Exos gaf út sínar fyrstu tvær
breiðskífur. Exos fylgdi útgáfum sínum eftir erlendis
og spilaði þá á klúbbum eins og Badofar í París,
Paradiso í Amsterdam,Tresor, Ostgut í Berlín, Nitra, U
club, og flr. Exos er nú að huga að sinni eigin
plötuútgáfu sem mun fæðast sumarið 2004. Hún ber
nafnið Do not sleep og mun gefa út útgáfur eftir
íslenska og erlenda tónlistarmenn eins og Dj Rush,
Cari Lekebusch, Samuel l Session, Cave, Misstress
Barbara og Exos
sjálfan.

 EXOS, the Icelandic born Arnvidur Snorrason, is all
ready well established within the techno community
after releasing two LPs on the critically aclaimed
German minimal label Force Inc and series of 12"s on
labels such as Thule Records, Tissju, Symbolism,
Automat and Mosaic.
Exos has successfully managed to create his own
distinctful sound; composing hard, up-tempo minimal
techno, that is dancefloor-ready as well as
listener-friendly.

Doctrinal explorer or free spirited conformist is a
question that springs to mind when attemping to define
Exos as a musician. His extrordinary talent of
touching the seemingly repetitive style of four on the
floor techno with a magic wand of some sort, applying
to it qualities of deepness, intelligence, spiritual
thought, and organic feel, never ceases to astonish
even after many listenings. His ability to avoid the
banalities of sliding in samples from other genres of
music in attempt to "broaden the cultural bandwith" is
ever the more imporant as he manages to create a
emotional universe that is totally integrated and self
contained within the music and thus almost forcing the
listener into a dialog with the expression involved.
